Nanshan Cultural Tourism District

Exceeding all expectations, with an annual attendance exceeding 3.5 million, the Nanshan Cultural Tourism District and Buddhist Culture Park is one of the most successful cultural park developments in China. A joint venture with the Provincial Government, it is located on 2000 hectares of waterfront on Hainan Island off the south coast of China. Thomas Kozlowski, CEO of Urban International (UI), developed the master plan and investment strategy at a project development cost that exceeded US$1billion and also secured the initial foreign investment for the project’s Phase 1 catalyst development.
