      • New Taipei City - Bali District

        Taipei, Taiwan

Well situated redevelopment site in New Taipei city with strong mixed use tourism potential.

        Background

In addition to having a close geographical relationship, Taipei City and Keelung City share and cooperate in many areas, including transportation, industrial development and the sharing of resources, forming the Great Taipei Metropolitan Area. With a population of 3.95 million over an area of 2,052 square kilometres, the Metropolitan Area is home to the 54th largest international container port in the world and is only 15 minutes away from the Taoyuan Airport for easy connections to Europe and America in addition to the greater Asian-Pacific region.

Connected by the Danjiang Bridge in 2014 with the Bali LRT system set to be completed by 2026, Bail District is a prime development location due to its strategic location and strong infrastructure development connecting it to Tamsui. With 5,210 art and culture events happening annually attracting 23.18 million attendees, Bali and the greater Metropolitan Area as a whole is poised to expand upon the existing 46 tourist leisure areas that draw in 33.59 million tourists each year and have and has already achieved an average growth of 41.3% over the last 3 years. Ranked the “Cleanest City” in Taiwan for the last 5 years straight, the New Taipei Green Hometown Plan is also looking to expand park areas from the current average of 1.27 square meters per citizen to 1.87 square meters per citizen over the coming 4 years. This development has attracted major investment bases already in the form of global corporations such as Foxconn, Far Eastern Group, Adata Technology, Gamania, Garmin Corporation, Luxgen, Vivotek and Texas Instruments.
